Some pictures taken of my guys just before they set off to
watch India v England at the Oval last summer.

My beautiful niece Zahara.

And finally a challenge lo set by Sharon of Scrapbook Lady.

Oh no, back to work tomorrow..

That's it. Back to work tomorrow! It's been lovely having these last two weeks off work...that's one of the perks of working in a school!!!

We've had a lovely Christmas. It was a quiet one, just spending time with the kids playing loads of games. Our favourite this year was Switch 16, a fab card game for 4. We ate tons of yummy food. Hussein fell ill on Boxing day so we didn't really get a chance to go out much.We also watched a whole bunch of movies including It's A Wonderful Life (a pressie from Dawn....thanks!) Here are a few pics taken during the hols.

Went to see Peter Pan at the Birmingham Rep...Xmassy present from my lovely baby brother Asif...thanks. Unfortunately Kaizer fell ill the day I was leaving for B'ham so I had to leave him behind with his dad. Thanks goodnes he's better now & all ready for school.

My cousin Alifiya, who lives in Kuwait, had her second baby a couple of days ago..another boy. Join the club hon!!

Last night we had raclette for dinner. It's a Swiss speciality cheese. You cook it under a tabletop grill & eat it with potatoes, sausages & pickled beetroot & gherkins. Yumm, my mouth's watering just at the thought of it. We love it but only eat it a couple of times a year.

Spent most of today updating my diary, the family calendar and at the last minute rushing out to WHSmiths with Kaizer to buy him new stationary for school.
Decided that I'd love to start knitting again so spent some time searching the web for sites. There's not really many bricks & mortar shops around here that sell wool & patterns. So if you know of any good sites please let me know.

Otherwise it's been a pretty much chill out day and I think I'm ready to go back to work. Ask me again at the end of the week and it might be a different story altogether!!!
Ciao for now.
